One of the things I superficially love about myself is my hair. After all, for the past three years its been a bit of a “money maker.” (humble brag – which apparently is no longer a thing). So when I am able to set aside a little P.I.T. (Personal Improvement Time) a good hair treatment always makes it into the line-up aside from the quick post gym wash or the 10 minute quick hair dry that I seem to always be tugging through.
Two weekends ago (I know time flies in NYC!) I got to indulge in a bit of that P.I.T. time when I took a one night staycation at the Park Lane. A gorgeous hotel with beautiful views of Central Park, the trees blooming and the champagne flowing – it was the perfect girls getaway with my Mom that couldn’t be beat.
Now in NYC – opulent hotel showers are a total luxury. We’re talking proper water pressure, a shower head that faces the right way, a shower you can turn around in – bliss! It’s enough to make a girl blush let alone want to be in there for longer than 10 minutes.
Coincidentally my friends over at Living Proof sent over some of their amazing line of “frizz fighting” products, just in time for the warmer months. I’m sure after they saw the frizz war of Mexico the figured my mane could use a touch of taming – LP friends, I totally agree! So, I took their shampoo, conditioner and heat spray for a spin in hopes of achieving that bragged about “weightless style.”
IN THE SHOWER ARSENAL
(Now if only they would cap it off with a dry shampoo on my non-hair care days!)
Drying my hair will always be a process – there’s no getting around that. I’ve always been a big fan of Living Proof products thy smell so great! But a products who’s aftermath can tame even my wildest of wire haired frizz and morph it into this smooth and weightless mane with the right amount of volume and bounce? Where do I sign-up. (Daily please!) Call me the ultimate PR girl for noticing that fantastic results aside, Living proof is the ONLY hair care line hair icon Jen Aniston has lent her name an likeness to in all of her years on “hair worshiped” earth. I mean if its good enough for Rachel…
Cheers to the money maker, a week of good hair and from what I hear for my friends in New York City, some summer sun-dress weather!
News flash – products were provided gratis by Living Proof – the opinions, those are all mine! I also just really like the stuff!
