Last night my “dreams” came true! I had someone ELSE do my hair while I sipped on a cocktail and gabbed with friends. Thanks to Bailey’s new Vanilla Cinnamon (GLAM) I was invited to Rachel Zoe’s Dream Dry Salon for a “Stylish Night” of sips and shampooing, and to be pampered after a long hard day at the office…
Thanks to the sweet 21st street Dream Dry location digs I was greeted on arrival with a drink and whisked away to my seat to start what for me is quite a long and arduous process.
a few Instagram posts and sipping on a vanilla cinnamon cocktail fit for a queen we were underway. I just feel bad for my stylist who informed me that he “didn’t expect this much hair.” No one does buddy…. no one.
But, after a sips numbing the pain of a tugging hairbrush and an arsenal of products and my Rita Hayworth/Blake Lively “hair-spiration” I was done! They did a pretty good job considering the mess I brought them!
The “shot” of the night went to the “Glamour Shot” (more here) and even though I am not one for shots – arguably I’m known by my friends as a slow drinker (**note – boys, cheap date with now Rita Hayworth-esque tendrils) = I was sipping through these pretty quickly.
The smooth vanilla with a little cinnamon spice and the gold embellishments (so fall!) was the perfect end of the day wind down. The waiter even poured some over ice with a cinnamon stick! Now that and someone massaging my head – yep, heaven!
The place was hoppin’ the drinks were flowin’ and it was a great way to also spend some time with the girls – Caviar Taste, Fashion Truffles and The Over Analyst. The best part is the fun doesn’t stop here – there’s a Part 2 to this fabulous GNO coming soon!
Thanks so much to Bailey’s Vanilla Cinnamon for helping this PR Girl wind down after a long day! Hopefully a few “Glamour Shots” did the trick!
