Happy New Year –

…and I am back! But only for a fleeting moment in 2012. I can’t believe that this year is over and 2013 is less than a day away – as I am writing this pretty sure it’s already arrived in Australia. Lucky b***hes are done prepping and primping for a big night and God knows I have a lot of hair make-up and moisturizing to do.

Back from 10 days in the islands and though I have a killer burn now tan, I have pretty much depleted the lotion supply at our corner Connecticut drug store. I think they are starting to think that I am concocting something in a lotion lab in my basement – au contraire Mr. drugstore man, simply trying to avoid the crime of horribly dry skin.

I have to say while away I missed the blog – I was totally detached, only a fleeting Wi-Fi signal at the hotel and a few perfect sunset Instagrams kept me going. Yet, I’m back well rested and excited to take on 2013 with a new amount of gusto! I haven’t plotted out all my resolutions but have a few to share…

1. Travel More –

I’m not sure where yet but my travel track this year was a frequent circle from Dallas to New York. Time to branch out! With a sprinkle of the Cayman Islands in there somewhere…

2. Think Less –

I am great at giving big changes WAY too much thought. 2013 will be a year of doing changing things up and getting my hands dirty. Even if people think it isn’t cool. Cool is out – ME is in!

3. Check off items on my leap list –

I am not even sure what that list looks like but I’ll make sure I start one – t-minus 237 days till my twenty-fifth.

But of course where would 2013 be without a few resolutions for the blog! Hence…
