Not going to lie I was over the moon when NYCPRGirls ask if I would like to do a feature on their blog. I have been reading this blog since I started in the business. It’s the perfect marriage of northern flavor and the PR industry.
Anyone that knows about PR will tell you that NYC is a mecca for the PR world – where the cities pace matches the industries marathon race Adrianna and Meg are not only living the life they are sharing what they learn, how to succeed and how to dress with the rest of the PR/PR Wannabe world.
Some of my favorite tips from these girls include:
Chose the best person for the job. Don’t base your judgement off of someone you think you’d be good friends with. While it is important to have “chemistry”, your best friend might not be the best co-worker.

On PR Girl Texting Don’ts:
Don’t overthink it. Let your personality show. Don’t reread your texts a million times like we do client notes before sending. Don’t reread the conversation thinking to yourself, “Should I have said that?” Just let it be.
