I don’t know about ya’ll but I woke up on the right side of the bed this morning and after two hard weeks both personally and professionally – it’s about DANG time! Of course every Saturday I like to start off with a good latte and catch up on some weekly reads. This week I’m sharing some of my HAPPIEST favorites with you all, because frankly that’s what we all deserve, a little ray of sunshine every once in a while…

PERSONALLY HAPPY // Trolling through Ashley’s Instagram I found this great quote on “Perfectionism” –it’s so true “[Perfectionism] isn’t the same as striving to be your best.

POWERFULLY HAPPY // Naturally – I had to figure out who was the BRILLIANT owner of the above quote which led me to this TED talk (which we know I love a good TED) from Brené Brown – The Power of Vulnerability, worth the watch & will help you hold your head a little higher.

HAPPY EVERYDAY // Okay so teensy pitty party – Who’s getting sick of this NYC weather? ME! My winter clothes and boots rotation – blagh! I can’t wait to start breaking out new work wear. So you can imagine how excited I was to see the new 424 Fifth line from Lord & Taylor – one of the new places I desperately missed when I was living below the Mason Dixon.

HAPPY TUMMY // Ya you thought this was going to be about a beachy-bod didn’t you… Well this week I was introduced to Brooklyn Supper and if you know me you know the word ‘crostini’ is like crack for me – I love a good bread topper creation. How does Figs served with chevre and a balsamic reduction, sound? Happy Tastebuds…

HAPPY FEET // Today I am going to subway down to the SJPxNordstrom Collection in SoHo at wait for it – the Nordstrom Pop-Up Shop! Yes Nordies a la NYC! SJP/Carrie is my decades Hannah Horvath, cosmo said so and I totes agree. So naturally frollicking the city streets in these heels make complete sense.

HAPPY TUNES // Naturally if this day is going to beam there’s only one song we’re going to listen to. Pharell’s killing it and with this pleasing earworm it’s hard not to be that person on the subway dancing in their tiny space… (press play below)…
