So I don’t know if I have been inspired by Downton Abbey lately (yes, my TV show interest expands beyond The Bachelor…shocking) or if I just think its amazing that a BBC show has completely revitalized a tanking network of DVD box set telethons and Seasame Street pre-Elmo scandal. In any case I have found myself drinking a lot more tea and certainly when no one is watching attempting to perfect my British accent for when the moment may strike that I would need to impersonate a “Brit.” Let’s just say I have a better chance pulling off my small tinge of German “look-a-like/sound-a-like” status before I am really rooting on Chelsea at Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese. But instead of being a closet “Brit” impersonator in Texas which is about as confused as one can get down here – I can easily find ways to embrace my inner “Lady Mary C.” -
